Strict water restrictions continue in City of Llano

The City of Llano is now in Stage 5 of its drought contingency plan. Officials are putting strict water restrictions on residents to try and conserve as much as possible.

Outdoor watering will be limited to one day per week and residents must follow the rules on which day they can water and at what time.

Trees, gardens, potted plants and foundations can only be watered on the designated day with a hand hose.

Sprinkler use is not allowed.

Homeowners are also asked not to wash their cars or fill their pools or hot tubs.

The following schedule is now in effect:

Addresses ending in 0,2 or 4 can use water outside on Sundays.

Homes ending in 1 or 3 have use on Saturdays.

Addresses ending in 6 or 8 must stick to Thursdays and those ending in 5, 7 or 9 have outdoor water on Wednesdays.

For commercial or multi-family properties whose addresses are even and can use water on Tuesdays. Those with odd addresses take Fridays.

Watering must be done between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. or 8 p.m and midnight.
