Teen dies in hospital after December shooting in Killeen
KILLEEN, Texas - A 19-year-old has died from his injuries after a December shooting in Killeen.
Killeen police reported Jan. 3 that Lou Busby III succumbed to his injuries Dec. 31 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital.
Officers responded to a crash in the 4100 block of Stan Schlueter Loop on Dec. 28 around 1 a.m. Officers found Busby suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. He was immediately transported to Baylor Scott & White in critical condition.

Killeen police say that a preliminary investigation showed Busby had been attending a party at a newly constructed home on Colina Drive with several area high school students. He left the party in a vehicle heading towards Stan Schlueter Loop when shots were fired, and witnesses told officers an older white sedan was in the area where the crash took place.
Detectives are looking for an older white sedan, possibly a Honda.
