Texas fires head coach Charlie Strong after three seasons

The University of Texas announced the firing of head coach Charlie Strong after three seasons. 

Strong's firing comes on the heels of a 31 - 9 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs which dropped the Horns to 5-7 (3-6, Big 12). Strong's career record at Texas was 16 - 21.
