The Circuit of the Americas transforms into Winter Wonderland

The Circuit of The Americas or COTA will be transforming into a winter wonderland come this December.

Visitors will be able to walk through a human size snow globe, experience Santa’s Workshop, a petting zoo, watch holiday movie classics on the lawn, walk a light trail and see the Tunnel of Lights.

“Winter Wonderland at the Circuit will be a wonderful family holiday experience for Central Texas,” said Circuit of The Americas Chairman Bobby Epstein. “The Circuit’s Grand Plaza and surrounding grounds will be transformed into an immersive experience of lights, music, and fun.”

Guests can also enjoy a hot air balloon, Santa’s train ride for kids, a giant skating rink, camel rides, carnival rides for both children and adults, and souvenir photos with Santa Claus.

Families who donate a book to Pizza Hut BOOK IT! Program at Winter Wonderland will receive one complimentary ride on the COTA Express. For those book worms Mrs. Claus will also be reading holiday stories in the Grand Plaza.

There will also be food trucks, hot cocoa stands, local vendors and other holiday treats there for families and friends to enjoy.

Tickets are on sale now at the Grand Plaza Box Office or online at https://www.ticketmaster.com. Prices start at $16 and free for kids 5 and under.

The bright new holiday tradition will begin Dec. 1 and 2 and remain open Dec. 8 through Dec. 30,  including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
