"The Masked Singer" celebrated the 65th anniversary of Barbie on Wednesday night, with panelist Ken Jeong opening the evening with a cheeky performance of "I’m Just Ken" – a popular song from the 2023 Blockbuster film.

This week, the Group B singers returned and sang their hearts out for the Golden Masked Trophy, but ultimately, Chess Piece was sent home

"The Masked Singer" unveiled Emmy-award winning actress and LGBTQ advocate Laverne Cox, who rose to prominence for her role as Sophia Burset on the Netflix television series "Orange Is the New Black."

Following her reveal, the 52-year-old explained her fears of singing onstage.

"I have so much trauma around singing," Cox shared. "There’s something about this that I thought with a mask on I can get over some of these fears and can work through some of this trauma. I didn’t even realize how deep it was until I started."

She continued, "What I had so much fun about tonight is that I got to sing and dance like I did when I was a little kid, and it didn’t have to right and it didn’t have to be perfect, and I just had fun. Hopefully, this is the beginning of me healing even more of that trauma."

She called it a dream come true when Mattel created a Laverne Cox Barbie doll – a prominent clue unveiled during the show.

"You’re literally a role model, a pioneer, and an inspiration. We’re just so honored for you to bless our stage," Jeong told Cox.

Next time on ‘The Masked Singer’

Next time, it’s time to groovy on "60s Night" on "The Masked Singer." The show will open with a "fun" rendition of "Fun, Fun, Fun" by The Beach Boys before the Group B finalists (Bluebell, Wasp and Goo) sing their hearts out to secure a spot in the Quarter Finals.

The celebrities will pay tribute to the groovy era with songs like, "House Of The Rising Sun," "Do You Love Me" and "Ain’t No Way."

All three contestants will battle it out, but only one is expected to survive the double elimination round – unless the judges use the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell.

Only time will tell. Catch the new episode of "The Masked Singer" Wednesday, Nov. 6 on FOX.
