Travis County Parks close multiple parks due to large number of visitors
AUSTIN, Texas - Travis County Parks have closed multiple parks due to a "large number of park visitors."
Travis County Parks says they are closing parks in order to manage the safety of both visitors and staff who are in the parks.
Parks closed on Sunday, May 24:
- Pace Bend Park
- Mansfield Dam Park
Parks closed for Saturday, May 23:
- Pace Bend Park
- Milton Reimers Ranch Park
- Arkansas Bend Park
- Mansfield Dam Park
All of the parks will be re-opened tomorrow, May 24, with limited capacity.
