Two killed in downtown San Antonio shooting identified
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - San Antonio police are searching for a gunman wanted in connection to a shooting at a downtown bar that left two people dead and five others hospitalized.
According to KSAT, the shooting happened around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Police Chief William McManus said the shooting happened at Avenue B during a concert inside of the bar.
An argument broke out inside of the club between a group of individuals and one person pulled out a gun and started shooting, McManus said.
San Antonio police say the Medical Examiner has identified the two killed as 21-year-old Robert Martinez and 25-year-old Alejandro Robles.
The other five who were injured were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive their injuries, say San Antonio police. The oldest was a 46-year-old woman and the other four were male and between 16 and 19 years old.
San Antonio police say this was not a random incident and that homicide detectives believe at least one of the victims knew the suspect.
