VIDEO: Kaitlin Armstrong's interrogation interview at APD headquarters
AUSTIN, Texas - FOX 7 has obtained evidence never before seen outside the courtroom which includes video of Kaitlin Armstrong’s interrogation at Austin police headquarters.
Armstrong is in prison for the death of Anna Moriah Wilson in East Austin in 2022.
"Sit right here in this chair and someone will be with you. Do you need a water or anything?" an Austin police officer asked Armstrong.
Armstrong is seen sitting down to be questioned at Austin police headquarters the day after Wilson was killed in East Austin.
"You're here for a warrant right now, I guess, are you familiar with what you have going on with that?" an Austin police interrogator asked Armstrong.
"No idea," Armstrong replied.
Armstrong had a warrant out for her arrest for a misdemeanor, a theft of service charge.
"If I have an existing warrant, and you don’t know what it’s about, do I need an attorney here?" Armstrong asked.
Armstrong apparently failed to pay for Botox in 2018.

"Apparently that warrant, the date of birth was wrong, so it had your name, but the date of birth is wrong, so it's to a different person, so that's not, you're not under arrest, okay?" an Austin police interrogator said to Armstrong.
Armstrong was told she was free to leave.
"I would love to leave, you just arrested me in front of my house in front of all of my neighbors and carried me here in handcuffs in front of downtown Austin, it was incredibly humiliating," Armstrong said.
"Yeah I can only imagine, I'm sorry," an Austin police interrogator said to Armstrong.
Meanwhile, back at Armstrong and Strickland’s house, detectives issued and executed a search warrant, looking through the home and Armstrong’s black Jeep. They found a Texas license plate, a passport card belonging to Armstrong’s sister, foreign currency, and two 9-millimeter handguns.
"I would like to leave," Armstrong said.
She didn’t leave immediately though, not until the investigator revealed information that linked her to the murder.
"Your vehicle was seen next to her house," an Austin police interrogator said.
"I would like to leave if I’m free to leave," Armstrong said.
Armstrong walked out of the room and prepared to leave town.
"She probably went into a panic when she was interviewed by the Austin Police Department. She probably knew they had a lot of information on her about where she suddenly sold her assets and she was able to get cash within 24 hours of $12,200," Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla said.
Armstrong sold her black Jeep for cash, and then she was seen on surveillance at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
"And then she departed on that flight to Houston, Hobby and on to New York, LaGuardia," U.S. Marshal Susan Pamerleau said.
Back in Austin, evidence collected at the home was being tested for a possible connection to Armstrong.
"Two handguns seized on May 17 by the Austin Police Department's ballistic unit positively identified one of those handguns as the handgun that fired the spent cartridge cases on Wilson's murder. That same day, a municipal court judge issued a warrant for Armstrong's arrest for the offense of murder," Austin Police Detective Richard Spitler said.
Armstrong was long gone and the worldwide search for her began.
