Free back-to-school health screenings at Walmart on Saturday. Here's what to know
Walmart is offering free health screenings ahead of the new school year.
Parents can bring their kids to the Walmart Wellness Day which runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (local time) on Saturday, Aug. 3.

Over 4,000 Walmart pharmacies across the country are participating in the event with pharmacists on site to provide families with free health screenings, including glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, and BMI. Vision screenings are also available, but at certain Walmart stores.
The wellness event also has affordable immunizations for families including COVID-19, flu, HPV, pneumonia, tetanus, measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox/shingles), whooping cough (TDAP), and Hep A & B.

"It’s one of our favorite times of the year and we are thrilled we can provide affordable health options for communities across the country on Wellness Day to help start the school year off strong," Kevin Host, Walmart’s senior vice president of pharmacy, said in a company release.
