null - First responders in Moundridge, Kansas, were able to fish a terrified baby out of a 10-foot-deep hole using a PVC pipe, a rope and some creativity.
According to the Moundridge Police Department, officers responded July 28 to a frantic call after 14-month-old Bentley fell down a 10-to-12-foot deep pipe next to a house. He was upright and trapped inside, police said.
Video from a police officer’s body-worn camera shows police and firefighters quickly craft a makeshift catchpole – like what animal control officers use to capture stray dogs – using a long PVC pipe and a rope. They fished Bentley out about 15 minutes later.

In the video, officers can be seen telling the family to cover the large hole, likening it to a "booby trap" for the little boy.
