Police in Colombia arrested a man who was caught attempting to smuggle over $10,000 worth of cocaine hidden in his wig.

The 40-year-old suspect was scheduled to fly to Amsterdam, Netherlands, before he was arrested at Rafael Nunez International Airport.
An officer from the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the National Colombian Police discovered the unidentified individual was wearing "a wig that contained more than 7.76 ounces of cocaine" after he went through the airport security scanner.

Video footage shared by police shows an officer observing a body scan image before using scissors to cut through the suspect's wig, revealing little packets containing a white substance underneath.
So far, 450 people have been arrested for drug trafficking and more than 115 kilograms of narcotics have been seized this year alone, police said.
