Water line busts after big rig gets caught in sinkhole north of Austin; boil water notice in effect
AUSTIN, Texas - First responders were on the scene of a truck that got caught in a sinkhole.
It happened just before 6 p.m. Friday evening at the intersection of Wells Branch and Wells Port Drive.
The front right tire of the truck was in the sinkhole.

Crews worked to first remove the 18-wheeler and then fill the sinkhole.
Water was shut off to the Wells Branch MUD and a nearby apartment complex.
Around 2 p.m. on Saturday, officials with Wells Branch MUD announced the line had been repaired.
However, a boil water notice is now in effect for several neighborhoods.
