Water outage in Manor: Elementary school cancels classes

Presidential Meadows Elementary School says it has canceled classes due to ongoing water outages in Manor.

Manor Independent School District says that Crossroad's ongoing water outages in the Presidential Meadows Elementary School neighborhood resulted in officials canceling classes for Wednesday, January 15.

Officials say the decision was made with the safety and well-being of students and staff in mind.

Dear PME Families,

Due to Crossroad’s ongoing water outages in the PME neighborhood, we have made the difficult decision to cancel classes at PME today, Wednesday, January 15. 

This decision was made with the safety and well-being of our students and staff in mind. At this time, we plan to resume classes tomorrow, Thursday, January 16. 

However, if there are any major changes to our operations, we will promptly notify families. 

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

There is a water boil notice in effect for the neighborhood. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, campus operations will adjust to provide clean water throughout the day.
