The Williamson County Sheriff's office is investigating: after a body was found Tuesday in Round Rock.

Deputies located the body near Brushy Creek Road.

The body was found in a wooded area in the 2000 block of Brushy Creek Road.

It was near some railroad tracks; however police did not say if that was how the person died.

Investigators said it looks to be an adult man but they don't know how long the body was there.
Seeing that it is a skeleton, the person was dead for some time and had time to decompose.

"We do not suspect foulplay. This is an ongoing investigation. Due to the condition of the body, we cannot tell what the cause of death was," said Patricia Gutierrez a spokesperson for Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Gutierrez also said that it could be a while before police can determine how the person died.
