Wreaths Across America honors veterans at Texas State Cemetery
AUSTIN, Texas - People gathered all across the country on Saturday to honor those that have served the country, and Austin was no exception.
The organization "Wreaths Across America" celebrated the veterans of Texas by placing wreaths on top of their graves for the holidays. The event happened at the Texas State Cemetery Saturday morning.
This will be the first year that Austin veteran Richard Overton was honored. He died last Decemebr at the age of 112.

More than 2,000 different locations across the U.S. participated in the event.
The wreaths celebrated every branch of the military.
