Marco Bitonel is a nightside reporter for FOX 7 Austin.
Before joining the team, Marco spent the last year as an anchor/reporter in Gulfport, Mississippi. While he was on the Coast, he covered events such as the New Year’s terror attack in New Orleans, President Biden’s visit to the region and communities devastated by floods.
Marco is a proud graduate of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he left with a bachelor’s in communication with an emphasis in broadcasting and new media. While at GCU, he was an anchor/reporter for the student-led broadcast, "Lopes Lately." Marco covered everything from campus events to March Madness, and it was in Phoenix where he realized his passion for news storytelling.
