"This is what makes it so awesome and exciting because you know it's rivalry," says Rangers fan Sebastian Melchor.
Fans call this year’s American League Championship Series an intense back and forth.
"Oh my god I have been on the edge of my seat every game. Especially, when we went 2-0. Oh my god, I was excited. I was like this is easy we are going to the World Series, but you know what, Astros came back sadly in a three streak in a row. I was like oh my god, now I’m scared for my life," said Melchor.
"It is actually very intense watching this series go back and forth," said Brian Arce, who was watching the game.
The Houston Astros won the World Series in 2022. The last time the Rangers went to the World Series was in 2011.
Some fans are just happy both teams made it to Game 7.
"Astros today, and then the next day I’m just like it's Rangers. It's Texas all the way for me," says Arce.
Ahead of knowing the final score, the predictions were in full swing.
"I'm going to get my whole family shirts even though they might be Astros fans. I just want them to be supportive for me because it's been a long time coming," says Melchor.
"They have already been through a couple of losses, so they are for sure going to be like we did it, and we worked hard, it’s finally the end of the season," says Astros fan Brooke Weber.
The Texas Rangers beat the Houston Astros 11-4 in Game 7 of the ALCS, and punched their ticket to the World Series for the first time since 2011.
