The NFL Draft officially kicked off Thursday night as 32 teams had their choice of college football’s elite talent to build their franchise around.
This year’s draft takes place at historic Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with the opening round of the draft on Thursday.
The action will continue when the second and third rounds take place on Friday, April 25 and the third day of the draft concludes with rounds 4 through 7 on Saturday, April 26.
Cam Ward selected as No. 1 pick by Tennessee Titans
Quarterback Cam Ward of Miami was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft.

A process that began with the Titans exploring their options shifted a few weeks ago when it became clear Ward would be their man.
Travis Hunter picked 2nd by Jaguars
Travis Hunter is taking his versatility to Jacksonville following a blockbuster deal.
After the Tennessee Titans selected Ward first overall, the Jaguars moved up from No. 5 to select the Heisman Trophy winner with the second pick. Hunter, a playmaking wide receiver and cornerback at Colorado, wants to become the first full-time, two-way player in the NFL since Chuck Bednarik did it with the Philadelphia Eagles more than 60 years ago.
The Jaguars gave the Cleveland Browns a ton to give Hunter that opportunity. The Browns got Jacksonville’s first-round pick (No. 5), picks Nos. 36 and 126, and a first-rounder in 2026. The Jaguars also receive fourth- and sixth-round picks in this draft.
Abdul Carter goes to Giants at No. 3
Abdul Carter will have to leave his Philly fandom behind. The edge rusher from Penn State was drafted by the New York Giants at No. 3, according to FOX Sports.
Carter led the country with 23 1/2 tackles for loss and had 12 sacks last season.
Patriots draft Will Campbell at No. 4
The New England Patriots used the No. 4 pick on LSU standout OT Will Campbell, giving quarterback Drake Maye more protection.
Campbell broke down in tears on stage, saying: "I’m gonna fight and die to protect him."
Browns go defense with Michigan DT Mason Graham at No. 5
The Browns, who moved down from the No. 2 spot, still went with a defensive player, not a quarterback, with their first pick. They selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham at No. 5.
Raiders go with Jeanty at No. 6 to boost rushing attack
The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to fix the league’s worst rushing offense—and they’re betting big on Ashton Jeanty.
With the No. 6 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Raiders selected the Boise State running back, who’s coming off a monster season with 2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns. He finished second in Heisman voting behind Colorado’s Travis Hunter.
Las Vegas averaged just 79.8 rushing yards per game last year, the lowest in the NFL. Jeanty, now the highest-drafted player in Boise State history, is expected to change that.
Jets select Missouri OT Armand Membou with No. 7 pick to bolster offensive line
The New York Jets addressed a major need up front by selecting Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou with the No. 7 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
With right tackle a priority, first-year general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn added the 6-foot-3, 320-pound lineman to strengthen protection around their new-look offense.
Membou’s selection follows last year’s first-round pick of Olu Fashanu, who is expected to remain at left tackle—setting up Membou to likely anchor the right side.
Panthers give Bryce Young a new weapon with McMillan at No. 8
The Carolina Panthers selected Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the No. 8 overall pick, adding a 6-foot-4 deep threat to support quarterback Bryce Young. McMillan, a first-team All-American, posted 1,319 receiving yards and eight touchdowns last season.
New Orleans invests in protection again with first-round lineman at No. 9
The New Orleans Saints picked Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. with the No. 9 overall selection in the NFL draft. Banks is expected to compete for a starting role alongside 2024 first-round pick Taliese Fuaga, as the team moves on from former first-rounder Trevor Penning.
Bears bolster offense with Michigan tight end Colston Loveland at No. 10
The Chicago Bears added a dynamic playmaker by selecting Michigan’s Colston Loveland, who set a school record for tight end receptions last season.
