AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Most eyes will be on 14 major winner Tiger Woods who is playing in his first Dell Match Play in Austin and first match play event since 2013 but there's a slew of other top PGA golfers in town as well.
Woods is grouped with Patrick Cantlay, Brandt Snedeker and Aaron Wise. He will open versus Wise on Wednesday.
Former Longhorn Jordan Speith has been in a bit of a slump lately, perhaps the worst of his pro career so far, but he's still ranked 30th in the world.
Speith was drawn into the same group as defending champ Bubba Watson. Speith opens against Billy Horschel on Wednesday.
Meanwhile Phil Mickelson may be in the toughest group. He'll be competing against Jason Day, 2016 British Open champ Henrik Stenson and 2010's PGA Player of the Year Jim Furyk.
Round robin group play is Wednesday through Friday at the Austin Country Club.
The winner of each four man group advances to Saturday's Round of 16.
