Vandegrift's Greg Brown receives McDonald’s All American jersey
AUSTIN, Texas - Vandegrift forward Greg Brown received his McDonald's All-American jersey and the 5 star talent is just the fourth Austin-area boy's basketball player to earn the prestigious honor.
"It feel amazing, I never, if you would (have) asked me when I was ten years old, that I was going to be an All-American, I would (have) told you that you're crazy, get out of my face, but wearing it right now is truly an honor because I never thought it would be like this," Brown says.
The nationally televised game will tipoff on April 1 in Houston.
Until then, Brown will try to lead his Vipers to state while narrowing down his college choices.
Brown says that Texas is among his final five picks.
"It's looking real good. We just finished our last visit to Michigan. It was a real good visit. All of them were real good visits," Brown says.
"Now we're just trying to talk about it and see what our options and see what places are right for me. We don't know yet, we're just trying to find the right place for me, find the best fit and see what, basically is the right school for me to leave a legacy at."
