Police investigating Austin's first homicide of 2023

Investigators say it started with a 911 call about a crash at an apartment complex on North Lamar near Hwy 183. When they arrived, EMS performed life-saving measures, but the victim died. They found bullet casings on scene, but they have not said how the victim died.
