State Sen. Gutierrez enters Senate race

State Sen. Roland Gutierrez, whose district includes Uvalde, announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate Monday. He now joins U.S. Rep Colin Allred in the Democratic primary to see who will ultimately challenge sitting U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.
