Refugee survives suicide car bombing, begins college at ACC

Qusay Hussein is on a mission to share his story and help others. At 17, he was badly injured when a suicide bomb exploded on the volleyball court he was playing on. He lost his vision and was left for dead. Determined, he came to Austin seeking refuge from Iraq. Now he's starting his college career.
