Georgetown teen heads to D.C. to advocate for those living with Type 1 diabetes

Isabelle Hanna, 16, is ready to tell anyone who will listen why it's important to push forward with Type 1 diabetes research. She was diagnosed at age 4 and now uses technology to help keep her numbers in check. Hanna was chosen to represent JDRF Austin in Washington, D.C. for the Children's Congress. She will join kids from all over the country and world to advocate on behalf of those living with Type 1. Hanna and her family stopped by Good Day Austin on the way to the airport.
