Austin weather: Triple digits roll on

Most of Central Texas is under Excessive Heat Warnings again Tuesday. As storms make their way across the East Coast, the question is: will any of that rain make it to the Austin area? Zack Shields has a look at the forecast.

Today will be the 32nd day in a row with highs in the 100s extending the record streak.

Not only will it be sunny, hot and dry but also breezy. This will increase the wildfire risk to a Level 4 out of 5. No outdoor burning allowed in the area.

We are also under an Excessive Heat Warning from noon to 9 p.m. today. Take breaks, stay hydrated and if you start feeling sick go inside immediately.
