Central Texas sees lots of hail as storms moved east
Several watches and warnings were issued from the NWS to all parts of Central Texas. Most of Central Texas was under a severe thunderstorm warning.
AUSTIN, Texas - The National Weather Service upgraded Central Texas to a Level 3, enhanced risk, of severe weather, which meant very large hail, damaging winds, and possibly even an isolated tornado on Friday, April 28.
Several watches and warnings were issued from the NWS to all parts of Central Texas. Most of Central Texas was under a severe thunderstorm warning.

After the front pushes through the storms are out of here by midnight and cooler, drier and windy times are ahead going into the first half of the weekend.
