AUSTIN, Texas - Severe weather is expected to impact Central Texas Wednesday, April 26, and will continue into the early morning hours of Thursday, April 27.
The National Weather Service has issued the following for Central Texas:
- A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Llano, Burnet, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Lee, Blanco and Travis County until 1 a.m.

The trio of clouds, fog and light rain will dominate Wednesday morning followed by a warm, humid and breezy afternoon. Isolated storms can't be ruled out this afternoon, but the main rain event will hold off until after midnight.
A cold front is also headed into the area Thursday morning.

Ahead of it rain and storms are likely with the highest threat of severe weather staying over the Hill Country. Large hail being the number threat. Some areas could get an inch of rain.
On April 27, the cooler and drier returns with the northerly behind the front.
