Power outages after storms roll through Central Texas

Many people are without power and traffic lights are out after power outages due to storms. FOX 7 Austin's Kelly Saberi has more details from Pflugerville and has safety tips.

The storms came through early in the morning and prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of Central Texas. It also prompted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Hays and southern Blanco County.

The line of thunderstorms that moved through Central Texas did contain strong winds and the threat of some small hail and a very low chance of a tornado.

Flooding was also a concern but there have been no reports of any substantial flooding issues.
