Amplify Austin aims to raise $12 million for local nonprofits
AUSTIN, Texas - Thursday marks one of Austin’s biggest day of giving.
Amplify Austin is a 24-hour fundraiser that raises money for over 750 different nonprofits in Central Texas.

This is the 8th year of the event, and this year the goal is to raise $12 million in 24 hours. Last year the event raised over $11 million and since it started in 2013, over $57 million has been raised.
You can donate as much or as little as you like, but the recommended minimum is $25. During the 24-hour period, sponsors will match donations.

The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 5 and will run until 6 p.m. Friday March 6.
