Austin police investigating shots fired at officers during South Austin traffic stop
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department's Aggravated Assault Unit is asking for the public's help in investigating shots fired at officers in South Austin.
APD says officers were working a traffic stop in the area of Spring Meadow Road and Cypress Bend around 1:45 a.m. on March 24. Officers heard several shots fired in their direction.
No injuries were reported and there was no damage to property.

Anyone with information or a potential suspect is asked to call the Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-5245 or Detective Taylor at 512-974-5945 and reference case number 20-0840102.
