Austin police looking to speak to additional victims of downtown stabbing
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is looking to speak to additional victims of a stabbing in downtown Austin Thursday night. Raecala Morris, 33, has been arrested in connection with the stabbings and is currently in custody in the Travis County Jail.
According to APD, officers responded to multiple calls of people who had been stabbed by a female transient in the 600 block of Neches Street just before 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23. The Austin Police Department says there were three victims they know of and that HALO cameras show two additional victims that have not been identified.
Detectives are asking anyone that may have witnessed this incident or has video footage to call the Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-5245. People may also contact Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS or use the new Crime Stoppers App.
