'No credible threat' to Fredericksburg Middle School: officials
FREDERICKSBURG, Texas - Fredericksburg Middle School has been given the all-clear after law enforcement found "no credible threat" to students or the campus.
What they're saying:
At about 12:20 p.m., Sept. 16, the Fredericksburg/Gillespie County Office of Emergency Management said that police were responding to a reported bomb threat at the school.
As of 2:17 p.m., police gave the all clear for the school and said the reported threat had been thoroughly investigated. The campus was swept by an ATF and DPS explosive detection K-9 team.
No credible threat was identified, and school operations were allowed to resume as normal.
