Fayette County K-9 seizes 3.5 kilos of cocaine during traffic stop
FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas - The Fayette County Sheriff's Office says a Narcotics K-9 Unit has seized about $350,000 worth of cocaine during a traffic stop Wednesday.

Sgt Randy Thumann and partner Kolt stopped a Lincoln SUV on I-10 just before 1:30 p.m. June 3 for a traffic violation. After speaking to the driver, FCSO says the sergeant saw several indicators of drug smuggling.

After further investigation, Thumann found approximately 3.5 kilograms of cocaine and money from drug proceeds, says FCSO, which added that the cocaine has a street value of about $350,000.
Gabriela Angelica Machado, 24, of Laredo was arrested for felony cocaine possession and taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
