Leander ISD suspending normal school operations until April 5
LEANDER, Texas - Leander Independent School District says it will be suspending normal school operations for the two weeks following spring break with the intention to reopen on April 6.
Officials say that until April 6 all buildings in the district will be closed to everyone except all essential staff, all building rentals will stop and all student competitions, games, events, practices and rehearsals will be canceled.

Free, drive thru breakfast and lunch services will be provided for any student from March 24 through April at the following four locations:
- Bagdad Elementary
- Reed Elementary
- River Place Elementary
- Running Brushy Middle School
Access to learning tools and instructional resources will also be offered.
District officials also say that all employees will continue to receive a paycheck and facilities will continue to be cleaned.
