Travis County Sheriff's Office investigating homicide

The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide in the 9000 block of Oliver Road.

Officials say one man is dead after an intruder entered a home early Friday morning. TCSO says the incident happened around 4:45 a.m. Deputies say a person inside the home called police when they heard multiple gunshots.

Deputies say the intruder fled the home with a possible gunshot wound.

The area around the home is currently blocked off.  Travis County PIO Kristen Dark is asking anyone with information to contact the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
