WEST, Texas - Photos from a viewer show a tornado touching down in West, Texas, just north of Waco, on Friday.

This comes as central Texas prepares itself for severe weather tonight and into the weekend.

Austin weather: Tornado watch for some counties

Central Texas is under a level 1 to 2 risk of severe weather, and some of our northern counties have already had a tornado warning. Zack Shields has the latest on the storms in his full forecast.
