Manor HS boys basketball team makes first trip to state

The Manor High School boys basketball team is making its first trip to state after a region final win over Connally.

Mustangs guard Jamal Shead says he hopes the team can keep proving everyone wrong and if the team wins state it will do just that.

Manor was the only team in the 5A bracket that was unranked at regular season's end with the other three teams ranked two, three and four.

Manor plays #3 Mansfield Timberview in the 5A State Semi on 3/7 at 7 p.m. (CT) at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
