Body found in North Austin

The Austin Police Department is investigating a body that was found in a field in North Austin on Friday. 

According to APD, a grounds keeper made the grisly discovery around 4:30 in the afternoon while mowing. APD and ATCEMS responded and found the body of a white man with apparent trauma. 

The victim has not been identified at this time.
