Killeen police make arrest in Killeen bank robbery

An arrest has been made in a bank robbery from earlier this week in Killeen, says the Killeen Police Department.

Eboni Siamone McMurray, 23, of Killeen was located in Killeen and taken into custody without incident Thursday evening. She is in the custody of the US Marshals, says KPD.

Officers were dispatched to a First National Bank in southeast Killeen on Feb. 12 around 5 p.m. after receiving a 9-1-1 call that the bank was being robbed.

Officers were told a black woman had entered the bank and walked up to the teller. She displayed a weapon, demanded money, and fled the area southbound with an undisclosed amount of money.

Killeen police released a description of the suspect and during a joint investigation with the FBI and Killeen police's Violent Crimes Unit, McMurray was identified and arrested.

Killeen police say further information will be released as it becomes available.
