Officials on lookout for Georgetown bank robber

UPDATE:

Round Rock police have arrested Alan David Hejl. He has been charged with robbery and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. 

 


 

The Georgetown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are on the lookout for the person who robbed the Capital One Bank at 1011 W. University Avenue.

Bank personnel contacted police just after 9:30 a.m. on November 1 and said that a black male entered the bank and demanded money.

The person is described as:

  • Approximately in late 40s
  • About 5'6" to 5'8"
  • Medium build
  • Last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, white socks, black shoes and carrying a black sling backpack
  • Appeared to be wearing a blonde wig

Officials say no bank employees were hurt. The robber did not show a weapon and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
