All-clear given after 'suspicious package' reported in North Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department bomb squad gave the all-clear after investigating a suspicious package found in North Austin on Monday.

According to police, around 2:39 p.m., the bomb squad assisted the Travis County Sheriff's Office in responding to a suspicious package at 2015 Cedar Bend Drive.

At 4:07 p.m., police said the scene was cleared, and the item was determined not to be an explosive device.
