ATCEMS: Two men suffer cardiac arrests during 3M Half Marathon

AUSTIN, Texas - Two men suffered cardiac arrests during the 3M Half Marathon Austin on Sunday Morning. 

ATCEMS responded to two separate cardiac arrest calls.

The first incident happened at E 32nd and Duval Street, while a second victim was reported at the marathon's finish line. 

Both men, believed to be in their 40's, received CPR on the scene and had their pulses return.

The men were transported to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition. 

EMS has since cleared the scenes and no other information on the victims are available at this time.
